I’ve also been collecting outfit and look pictures on my phone for the month of July. I don’t really like to do collective look posts like this but I’ve discovered it’s harder to blog from my phone than I thought. I’ll try to remember what I wore in each set.

Daily – 6/22 weekend boyfriends, sushi, zoo & more food!

This past weekend was my boyfriends birthday so we ate a lot! But more on that later. We planned a full day out at the zoo and lake.

We woke up early to go the zoo to beat the rush and I’m so glad we did! I’ve never been to this zoo before so I was really excited to see what the hype was all about. It cost us $42 to get in which is probably why I’ve never been there before. My normal zoo is free.

We grabbed breakfast at MCDs which I hadn’t done in the longest time. It felt like a mini road trip eating mcd breakfast and driving out there with the wind in my hair!

Here’s what I wore.

On my face I used all waterproof/swim stuff so that it wont melt off or come off after swimming later. I used loreal volumnous, etude waterproof liner, stila lip stain, stila bronzing gel.

After the zoo, we grabbed some food and also attended a graduation party.

Later that night we went to grab some sushi and drinks.

I had eaten so much already though that I couldn’t eat much sushi which is a shame since it’s so good!

I didn’t take as many pictures of the weekend as I could’ve mostly food so here is more from Sunday!

I ended the weekend eating yogurt with my mom and sisters and cousin.

Daily – 6/18-21 Hair change, eating & badminton

I only captured two work outfits last week. First one is pretty simple and neutral.

later on in the day I changed to this to be more casual but still cute.

Last week I dyed my hair but it didn’t turn out light enough so I’m going to try again this week. Here’s a shot of it, you can’t tell so well.

After it didn’t work out I did some googling and found this one which I will be using this week.

It’s supposed to be high lift so it should get my hair a lot lighter.

My boyfriend and I went to applebees and did the two for $20 last week.

I also did a bit of chicken cooking last week and it turned out great!

It’s chicken and snow peas stir fried with a whole wheat pita.

I’m not a great cook but I certainly know my way around some thread and needle so I did some mending for my boyfriend.

This is about the only homey thing I can do.

Last week there were two major storms and a lot of fallen trees. Here’s one I saw on my way to work.

That’s not even the worst cause it was in someone’s yard. The worst are the ones on the street that you can’t drive around.

And finally I ended my week with some hard core badminton and some bubble tea.

I always get cappuccino and only once before has it failed me.

I’m still not good at blogging often but with my phone I now take pictures of everything so I can keep a really good track of my activity to blog later on even if I can’t get to it right away. I know this is long over due so I’ll just get right into it.

My little sister graduated from highschool this year (valedictorian!) and so we threw her a graduation bbq. We had so much food! Looking at the pictures makes me want to bbq all over again!

My sister made these yummy mint chocolate cupcakes!

My contribution was the little decoration flags 🙂

I was going to buy her a camera for graduation but since she’s going to Japan next week I told her I would just double the amount of money I was going to give her to use in Japan. Overall it worked out nicely because I don’t have to worry about getting a gift and she gets extra cushion money for Japan just in case she wants to buy more.

The day after the party I had a me day so I did some shopping and errands. I knew I was going to stay on my feet all day so I opted for casual.

I took my grandma to the flea market early that morning to pick up some traditional wedding clothes.

And then I headed to the mall after. Here are some outfits I tried on at F21. I only walked away with one which you’ll see in an upcoming haul post.

I also stopped in victoria’s secret to browse.

They have the cutest fitting rooms! And I found the cutest neon orange shorts but they didn’t have my size.

And then later in the day I went fishing with my boyfriend and his brother and brother’s girlfriend. Well, I watched lol. Here’s Koko at the bait shop.

It was fun until it started getting really cold and rainy.

I ended my weekend making plans for this year.

As you can see by the theme, I need to start saving now!

I did some shopping and had lunch with my boyfriend and then I came home, changed into a more comfortable outfit to hang out with the girls.

Thursday was chock full of activity; picnic at the zoo, random shopping and highschool graduation.

We had a mini picnic at the zoo and feasted on some bentos.

My friend even brought this cute little table.

After the picnic I went out to shop and eat with my family before my little sister and cousin’s graduations. At k-mart I found this cute Revlon weekender.

I’ve been looking for a weekender for a while because my other one is over 4 years old but I’m so picky about the outside print and inside design that I just haven’t been able to commit to one but I really like the total look of this one. The only gripe I have with it is that it’s smaller than I like.

New Years 2011 – 2012 + Outfit of the day

Hey all! I’m back for a small New Years Recap. I finally got go to out this year for New Years. I stayed in last year because of the bad weather (snow, ice, etc!) This year, I was so happy to be able to go out for new years and to spend it with my boyfriend! We’ve been together 5 years but he’s been gone for 3 of those years so this was the first year in a long time that I got to celebrate with him in person and not over the phone!

We knew there was a winter storm warning but we still did a bit of party hopping all over town. Luckilly, everything went fine with the exception a bathroom detour and it taking us over an hour and a half to get to our second party because of the snow.
