I guess I’m still on my makeup fix because all the new releases are making my bones shake to shop!

I’m really liking Smashbox’s Spring 2011 additions

That palette looks like it was made for me, all neutrals and purples. Love! I also like the colors of the blush duo and the lipglosses.

From Mac’s new collection Cham Pale launching on the 26th:

I just love this color and will probably go out to get it when it launches.

[ ♡ ] Recent Purchases – The Hustler’s Smashing Orgasm

Just some recaps. These aren’t actual recent purchases. I got this NARs gloss duo a few days ago but accidently left it in my car and just got it out of the trunk lol . It was frozen but is now thawed sitting in my room.


This is the 3rd one I bought because I just couldn’t resist the great deal ($10.) This one is a duo in Orgasm and Hustler. Orgasm looks exactly as you would think. It’s got that same nudey pink undertone with gold sparkles. It’s very cute. Huslter is a darker gloss in sort of a brownish shade. I haven’t had a chance to really try it out on my lips yet so it might look different than the swatch.


I also got this free Smashbox brush set from Ulta. If you buy over $30 worth of smashbox things, you get three free brushes and a gold pouch. The brushes include: a tiny flat brush, a big eyeshadow brush, and a sharp point blender brush. I really like the blender brush because it puts shadow directly in the crease. So far I’m loving them and free is always a great deal!

As requested by Karen, here are some more in depth swatches of my Tarte palette and a few extras.

First is the top tier of the shadows. I’ve numbered them for cross reference.



Next is the 2nd part of the top tier, some more shadows.


I also did swatches of the middle tier.


And then I did some quick swatches of the pencil. Here is a shot of what it says. It’s supposed to be long wearing. It doesn’t say anything about being smudge proof.



^as you can see, it smudges like crazy! These are probably not going to be used unless I have some sort of other liner to incase it.

I also did a quick swatch of my smash box quad.


^this is actually one of my favorite buys so far! I love purples. Also these shadows have a thicker creamer consistency than the Tarte shadows.
